Tomato - Sub Arctic Plenty (Early) (Determinate) seeds

Description

The Sub Arctic Plenty (Early) Tomato is trying to tell you something: It produces a lot of fruits very quickly (45 days!), and really likes cooler temps. It would also like you to know that you can quickly (45 days!) grow the plants closer together without a stake or cage, or in a container or hanging basket. One more thing: It doesn’t sacrifice flavor or texture by ripening so many fruits so quickly (45 days!). You’ll harvest clusters of robust, red, juicy, tart, smallish medium-sized fruits in no time (45 days!). Plenty of them.

These Sub Arctic Plenty Tomato Seeds are a variety of early, determinate tomato plants known for their high yields and rapid fruit production. These seeds produce plants that mature in approximately 45 days and are well-suited for cooler growing conditions, making them ideal for early planting in short Northern or Southern growing seasons. The seeds are designed for easy cultivation in containers, hanging baskets, or close spacing in garden beds without the need for staking or caging. Plants grown from Sub Arctic Plenty Tomato Seeds develop medium-sized, red, juicily tart tomatoes that are perfect for fresh eating, salads, or cooking.

The plant's growth is supported by typical determinate breeding, requiring no pruning, and they typically reach maturity within 45 to 60 days. These seeds are suitable for gardeners with limited space seeking high yields in a short season, making the Sub Arctic Plenty Tomato Seeds a practical choice for early-season, high-output tomato cultivation. The product ships in a sealed packet, and care involves planting in full sun with regular watering. No additional support structures are necessary, as the plants are compact and bushy.

Very late maturing

"I transplanted a flourishing 10-week old start in the garden on May 7. It's now July 18 and I haven't harvested a single ripe tomato yet, even though I've already harvested ripe Sun Gold, Black Cherry, and Brandywines started and transplanted on the same days in the same soil and garden location, each in their own 30 gallon grow bag. The seeds germinated easily and it's certainly a compact plant and so great for smaller spaces, but my tomatoes still look to be at least 1-2 weeks away from ripening. I'm baffled and can't help but wonder if I somehow got the wrong seeds because there is no way I would ever consider this an early maturing variety!"

    Safe Seed Pledge

    OUR PLEDGE TO YOU

Agriculture and seeds provide the basis upon which our lives depend. We must protect this foundation as a safe and genetically stable source for future generations.

For the benefit of all farmers, gardeners and consumers who want an alternative. We pledge to you that we do not knowingly buy or sell genetically engineered seeds or plants.  The mechanical transfer of genetic material outside of natural reproductive methods and between genera, families or kingdoms, poses great biological risks as well as economic, political, and cultural threats.

We wish to support agricultural progress that leads to healthier soils, genetically diverse agricultural ecosystems and ultimately healthy people and communities.

We do not buy - OR - grow any seed from large corporations that make Genetically Engineered seeds.  We don't touch that stuff and we never will.

The seeds we offer aren't like varieties you'd typically find at a garden center.

Every variety we offer is 100% OP (open-pollinated).  Open-pollination means that you can safely save the seed after harvest and preserve a collection of heirloom seed for many generations to come.

To make it perfectly clear ... Our seeds do not contain any exogenously inserted embryogenesis deactivator genes caused by human intervention.
